Jack Tyler Engineering Company has been providing quality repair of pumps and many other kinds of engineered equipment for over 40 years. Our Memphis location features full-time service technicians and a test pit for proving pump repairs performed in our shop.Our technicians are factory trained by the pump companies we represent. This training includes mechanical, electrical, and application-related areas, as well as training on control theory.

The test pit allows us to pump water in a controlled environment, measure the flow and pressure outputs, check for leaks and other potential problems and return the pump to the customer with the knowledge that the repair was done right the first time. The test pit can also help focus on any system problem the customer may have at his plant by eliminating the pump as the problem after repair.

On site work includes removing and reinstalling equipment, troubleshooting of pump controls and systems, and training of customers' maintenance personnel.

We also repair air cylinders and valves, blowers, fans, rotary joints, and air compressors and dryers, both refrigerated and desiccant. We are able to perform service and repair at your plant location, and would enjoy working with you in a service capacity on a regular basis for oil and filter changes for air compressors, pump manufacturers' checklists at recommended intervals, or general plant maintenance.
